About the Role

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Nutrition Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition counseling and support to patients undergoing bariatric surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and diet history.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote weight loss and improve overall health.
• Collaborate with the bariatric care team to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Provide education and support to patients on nutrition and lifestyle-related topics.
• Document patient progress and laboratory data in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Delaware.
• Experience in acute care, outpatient counseling, and/or community nutrition preferred.
