As a Lead Pediatric RN, you will oversee and manage the operations of the unit during your designated shift, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational effectiveness.
You will hold the responsibility for resource management and support the administration of patient care.
Your duties will encompass supervising registered nurses and other nursing personnel.
Essential Skills:- Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer systems for documentation purposes
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
- Ability to understand and adhere to instructions
A minimum of one year of experience in acute care within a hospital environment is required.
Licensure/Certification:- Current BLS and PALS certifications for pediatric care
- NRP certification for specialized care areas
- Valid RN License in Texas
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing
This is a full-time position at a leading children's hospital.
