Job Summary

Mirion is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and assembling various cryogenic hardware components, including cryostats, dewars, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble and test cryogenic hardware components, including cryostats, dewars, and other related equipment.
  • Leak Testing: Perform leak testing on cryogenic hardware components to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain cryogenic hardware components, including cryostats, dewars, and other related equipment.
  • Soldering and Epoxying: Perform soldering and epoxying tasks on cryogenic hardware components.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of cryogenic hardware components and supplies.
  • Quality Control: Inspect assembled components for quality and conformance to specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Two+ years of mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience.
  • Skills: Mechanical ability, ability to follow blueprints and written procedures, basic knowledge of electronics and components, good math skills, knowledge of metric measurements, ability to handle chemicals safely, and very good soldering skills.
