We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Kingdom Recovery Center. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients struggling with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Counseling Services: Deliver individual and/or group counseling to clients with primary mental health, primary substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
- Training and Supervision: Provide training and supervision as needed for therapist(s) and case manager(s) to ensure high-quality care.
- Emergency Response: Participate in Administrator On Call (AOC) rotation for emergent client crises or consults, exercising sound professional judgment to effectively manage patient behavior.
- Documentation: Complete all documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and other required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling to family members as needed.
- Professional Development: Attend daily staff and/or treatment team meetings, participate in all required staff training, and complete assigned paperwork in a neat and accurate manner.
- Education and Licensure: Must have a Master's or higher degree with an active TN state licensure of either LPC, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of addictions and mental health complications, community health resources, referral procedures, and admittance criteria for healthcare providers.
- Networking and Collaboration: Ability to network and collaborate with healthcare and other social and cultural agencies to provide services to patients and families.
- Problem-Solving and Teamwork: Knowledge and competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building.
