About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI exams on a variety of body parts, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete pre-exam screening, greet patients, and assist with appropriate gowns, history forms, and technologist exam sheets.
  • Verify and follow doctor's orders, initial patient charts, and safely administer contrast media with power injectors.
  • Transport patients to and from ER and other imaging areas, move patients on and off the exam table, and communicate effectively with customers.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiography program.
  • RT and MR certification from ARRT.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Tech and 2 years of MRI experience (highly preferred).
