Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiogram Technician to join our team at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms according to physician's orders and established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confer with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard examinations and determine technical factors to satisfy requirements.
• Evaluate nature of critical and emergency procedures and rearrange patient priorities to accommodate them.
• Advise cardiologists of results of examination and provide preliminary diagnostic evaluation.
• Notify cardiologists of significant scans necessitating immediate attention to patient.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience preferred
• Background in physics related to Doppler ultrasound and/or electrical conduction
• CPR (American Heart Association)

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Beeville is a Level IV Trauma Center, providing 24 hour emergency and intensive care services for critically ill or injured patients. Our hospital is licensed for 69 beds and offers a range of services, including Emergency Services, Intensive Care, Medical Surgical Services, Obstetrics, Surgical Services, Critical Care, and Rehabilitation Services.
