About the Role:- As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with adult and geriatric patients to help them achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
- You will conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized intervention plans, and provide hands-on therapy to clients in their homes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Conduct home visits to assess clients' functional status and develop personalized therapy plans.
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients' cognitive, psychological, and motor abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Educate and instruct patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to patient care management and services provided.
- A current NJ Occupational Therapist license.
- Prior home care experience preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
