Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry, PLLC. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional chair-side support to our doctors and hygienists, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
- Manage patient flow, prioritizing next operatory rooms and updating doctors on patient status.
- Welcome and greet patients in the reception area, providing a personal introduction and ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take and process X-rays, and perform patient hand-offs as needed.
- Enter and update patient treatment plans using our company's operational system.
- Verify patient satisfaction and take appropriate action when visits do not meet expectations.
- Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory, and maintain emergency kits and first aid supplies.
- Monitor laboratory cases and ensure they are ready for the next day's schedule.
- Follow maintenance schedules for dental equipment and handpieces, and identify and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow OSHA regulations and MFSD safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, and other required certifications and registrations.
- Maintain and update annual CE requirements as specified by the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of job-related experience.
- State requirements where specified.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
