Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and organized Medical Office Receptionist to join our team in the Southern Pines area.

This role involves working closely with patients, doctors, and insurance companies to ensure accurate medical records and efficient communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Collections and Verification: Gather patient demographics, insurance information, and verify benefits to ensure accurate records.
  2. Scheduling and Notifications: Schedule appointments, notify patients of estimated charges, and explain deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses as necessary.
  3. Documentation and Communication: Document all interactions with patients, doctors, and insurance companies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  4. Authorization and Pre-Certification: Contact other healthcare providers for authorization or pre-certification when required.

Compensation Package: Competitive salary range of $42,000 - $58,000 per annum, based on experience.
