Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our CT scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality CT images of patients while adhering to established scanning protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Operate CT scanners safely and competently, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech, to ensure proper charges and referring physician orders are verified.
  • Provide patient care in a professional and courteous manner, preparing examination rooms for CT scans and maintaining room cleanliness and neat appearance.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, and performing biopsies, as well as providing all types of care to patients.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete the verification process in PACS.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to HIPAA Policy and Procedure.
  • Complete and maintain personal educational requirements, including continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT - CT Technology Certification (required within 6 months of hire).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
  • FT - Days with rotating weekends.
