Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is $21 per hour, with all shifts available. Pay rate may vary based on location and experience.

Job Description:

As a Protection Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a Correctional Facility located in Scotland County, Laurinburg, NC. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others while advancing your career in the security industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
  • Must be able to obtain a NC Armed Private Protective Services security registration
  • Possess a valid driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years
