About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong passion for improving the lives of children on the spectrum, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As a Behavior Therapist, you will provide one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and collect data on their progress.
Key Responsibilities- Implement Discrete Trials, Natural Environment Teaching, and other teaching/reinforcement methods in line with the Behavior Support Plan
- Work closely with a BCBA to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or college degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to maintain a positive attitude while working independently in a child's home
