Job Summary

As a Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including processing and dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling patients on medication use and health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest medications, treatments, and best practices in pharmacy care, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and reduce medication errors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist license in good standing
  • PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
