Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Saint Agnes Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of specialized invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
• Conduct routine and specialized radiographic procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.
• Collaborate with the Lead Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to ensure the smooth operation of the cath lab.
• Maintain a working knowledge of basic physics, anatomy/physiology, biology, math, and radiographic positioning.
• Develop and maintain a high level of proficiency in operating and troubleshooting radiographic and support equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a two-year accredited program in Radiology Technology required.
• Two years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Cardiac Radiology Technologist required.
• Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification issued by the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) required with Fluoroscopy permit required.
• American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Radiography required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire.
