Position Overview

The Travel MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services while traveling to various locations. This position is essential for ensuring that patients receive exceptional care during their imaging procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications: Must possess current certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, which must be active and included in the submission.
Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care in alignment with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Accountable for the quality of imaging services provided by self and those under supervision.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Utilize specialized knowledge and judgment to assess data and provide care tailored to the physical and developmental needs of patients.
Job Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of current experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
  • Nursys Hits: No Nursys Hits are permitted.
Schedule Information
  • Requests for time off will not be approved within the first two weeks or during holidays.
  • Time off cannot exceed 7 days.
Additional Information
  • Travel Experience: Previous travel experience is mandatory.
  • Learning Modules: Completion of learning modules is required prior to the start of the assignment.
  • Non-Billable Hours: Adjusted to reflect 16 hours for each assignment.
  • Assignment Cancellation: Clients or vendors may cancel an assignment in progress with 7 days written notice without incurring penalties.
