Universal Stainless is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing electrical maintenance, repair work throughout the mill.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and replace motor bearings
  • Maintain control panels, switches and wiring
  • Maintain, inspect and repair all breakers
  • Inspect transformers
  • Perform general electrical maintenance on assigned area
  • Operate overhead crane and/or fork truck to move electrical supplies or equipment
  • Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Perform electromechanical rebuilds of plant production equipment
  • Assist in installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Able to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Tac-welding skills
  • Analytical ability
