Position: Procurement Specialist

Location: Jessup, MD
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Salary Range: $49,920 - $60,320 based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage daily procurement orders
- Identify and rectify discrepancies in purchase orders
- Conduct supplier research to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability
- Oversee inventory levels and facilitate branch transfers
- Cultivate and sustain supplier partnerships
- Negotiate pricing, payment, and shipping terms
- Maintain precise purchasing documentation
- Engage in trade exhibitions and vendor discussions

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a procurement role
- Experience in wholesale supply preferred
- Associate's degree is advantageous
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
