Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Instructional Plans

Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, aligning with our Personalized Mastery Learning model.

Build and Maintain a Supportive Learning Environment

Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters social-emotional learning, community building, and conflict resolution.

Collaborate with Students and Parents

Work closely with students and their families to develop learning plans, set goals, and monitor progress, ensuring a high level of student engagement and motivation.

Provide Subject Area Expertise

Deliver subject-specific instruction, utilizing a range of teaching strategies and technologies to meet the needs of all learners.

Assess and Evaluate Student Progress

Utilize various assessment strategies to drive instruction, inform decision-making, and ensure continuous improvement of student learning.

Participate in Professional Development

Engage in ongoing professional growth and development, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and technology.

Requirements
  • Education and Credentials

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, with a Multiple Subjects CA Credential.

Experience and Skills

Demonstrated ability to work with diverse youth in an educational setting, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong commitment to social-emotional learning and project-based education.
