About the Role:

The Assistant Director of Nursing - Quality and Training will be responsible for overseeing the administration and development of the nursing program at the Office of School Health. This includes supervising a team of nursing professionals who are responsible for staff development, nurse recruiting, hiring, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of nursing staff and improve the quality of care provided to students.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Office of School Health to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing practice.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and services, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
