This role is crucial in delivering both direct and indirect patient care through standardized procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Quickly respond to emergency situations and facilitate patient transfers between medical facilities within designated time limits.
- Administer necessary medical treatments to patients across all age demographics, adhering to established protocols.
- Exhibit strong communication abilities with peers, patients, and the community.
- Accurately compile comprehensive oral and written reports regarding patient care.
- Execute EMT responsibilities independently without direct oversight.
- Assist fellow team members by positively engaging in assigned tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification
- Registered Emergency Medical Technician in Minnesota
- Current Basic Life Support HCP CPR Certification
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) certification
- Nationally registered EMT status
- Previous experience in an EMT capacity
