Job Summary:

At Shamrock Labels, we are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator - Flexographic to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality prints and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality prints
  • Load substrates and mount printing plates, ensuring accurate registration and color alignment
  • Mix and prepare inks to match color specifications, maintaining consistent ink quality and color accuracy
  • Monitor press operations to ensure quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed to maintain print quality
  • Perform regular quality checks and measurements, identifying and resolving any issues that may affect print quality
  • Adjust press settings to maintain color accuracy and print quality, ensuring consistent results
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the press, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Maintain detailed production records and documentation, providing accurate and timely information to support business decisions
  • Coordinate with team members and communicate issues to supervisors, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective problem-solving

Requirements:
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to self-motivate and be industrious
  • Ability to read, print, and perform basic math, applying conceptual understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
