Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Computed Tomography to join our team at Banner Health. This role involves performing prescribed procedures in accordance with department and facility policies, ensuring optimal care and treatment to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed.
  • Produce high-quality images and prepare/present them for timely interpretation.
  • Demonstrate competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures.
  • Perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT)).
  • State Licensure required for AZ, WY, NV; includes Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
  • Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT(CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board – NMTCB (CT).
  • Certification for BLS is required.
  • Two years of experience in clinical knowledge.

Addditional related education and/or experience preferred.
