One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a highly skilled Skilled Laborer to join our team. As a Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including installation and maintenance of equipment and furniture, as well as transportation of office supplies and equipment. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of equipment and furniture, including whiteboards, chalkboards, and other items requiring simple wall anchors.
  • Transportation of office supplies and equipment, including furniture and equipment to and from destinations such as DOS office buildings, freight depots, airports, and warehouses.
  • Operation of stevedoring equipment, dollies, hand-trucks, forklifts, and jacks, as well as other specialized equipment.
  • Lifting and moving heavy objects, including furniture and equipment, as well as performing other physically demanding tasks.
  • Following simple written instructions, manuals, and drawings to complete tasks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six (6) months' experience in labor/moving work.
  • High school diploma/equivalency required.
  • Adequate reading and writing skills to follow simple written instructions.
  • Experience in the use of hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and hammers.
  • Proper certification/licensure in the use of stevedoring equipment, dollies, hand-trucks, forklifts, jacks, and other specialized equipment.
