Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Pacific Rail Services is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our East St. Louis, Illinois rail terminal. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on our dynamic rail terminal equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair overhead cranes and side-loader equipment
  • Address maintenance and repair needs for the hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles
  • Ensure the maintenance of the hostler fleet
  • Perform welding and fabricating tasks
  • Work on electrical components
  • Routine equipment maintenance
  • Provide assistance in various areas as required by management
Requirements:
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Successfully pass a 7-year background check
  • Pass a drug test and IPCS Physical Capabilities Test
  • No GED or diploma is required
