Interventional Radiology Nurse

Job Title: RN - IR/IVR (Interventional Radiology)
Job Summary:
A radiology nurse plays a vital role in the assessment, planning, and care of patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. As a travel nurse in interventional radiology, you will be responsible for monitoring patients during radiology procedures, administering conscious sedation under the direction of a physician, and interpreting and treating cardiac arrhythmias.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during radiology procedures
- Administer conscious sedation under the direction of a physician
- Interpret and treat cardiac arrhythmias
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Organize daily work schedules and prepare supplies and equipment rooms to meet physician requirements
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous interventional radiology experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience as RN preferred
- Active BLS
- Active state license
- Active ACLS
- Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members
