Position Summary:

Role Overview:
The Enterprise Resilience Team is seeking a testing and exercise specialist to establish structure, requirements, and coordination across Mastercard's various resilience functions, including:
  • Business Continuity (BC)
  • Crisis Management (CM)
  • Technical Recovery (TR)
  • Resilience Planning (RP)
  • Operational Resilience (OR)

This role requires hands-on execution and the ability to work independently while receiving support from a global Enterprise Resilience Team. Some international travel may be necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a global Enterprise Resilience team to design and implement advanced testing and exercise capabilities.
  • Integrate Operational Resilience within the organization, building on the foundation of Enterprise Resilience Disciplines.
  • Work with global Enterprise Resilience staff to enhance understanding and standardization of resilience practices.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Operational Resilience regulations and guidelines, particularly those set by the Bank of England.
  • Align the Enterprise Resilience program structure with relevant certification standards, such as ISO.
  • Support regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions in which the organization operates.
  • Evaluate and confirm Impact Tolerance levels for identified services.
  • Collaborate with the Risk function to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
  • Manage business continuity tasks, including business impact analysis and risk assessment coordination.
  • Ensure third-party business continuity capabilities meet risk management requirements.
  • Act as a Crisis Management expert to establish response models and conduct exercises.
  • Coordinate with technology recovery contacts to ensure compliance with policy requirements.
  • Educate business partners on program roles and responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the organization to foster a culture of business continuity.
  • Provide management consultation and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO certification requirements and relevant regulatory legislation.
  • Industry accreditation at MBCI level or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong background in impact analysis and risk assessment design.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating complex scenario-based exercises.
  • Understanding of technology recovery exercises; a technology background is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in managing third-party business continuity risks.
  • Familiarity with Fusion Risk Management Business Continuity software is a plus.
  • Experience with emergency notification tools is beneficial.
  • Experience in designing and delivering management information metrics is advantageous.
