Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the advisory team; anticipate their needs.
  • Strategic Thinking: Engage in proactive and critical thinking to enhance our operations.
  • Efficient Task Management: Organize and manage tasks, directing the advisor's focus where it is most needed.
  • Financial Plan Development: Create accurate financial plans using industry-standard tools; conduct complex analyses of planning strategies, risks, and opportunities in various financial areas.
  • Oversee the implementation of client planning strategies.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to formalize their financial plans; address client service needs throughout the year.
  • Stay informed on trends in the financial planning sector.
  • Client Meeting Coordination: Remain updated on client meetings, advisor priorities, and project timelines.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, take notes, follow up, and communicate with clients.
  • Participate actively in client and planning meetings, translating discussions into actionable strategies for data collection and analysis.
  • Develop client deliverables and reports in a timely, accurate, and informative manner.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, understanding their unique circumstances and anticipating their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as FPQP, CFP, or AAMSSM are advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the industry as a paraplanner is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior relationship management abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in desktop applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel) and financial planning software.
  • A collaborative team player eager to share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Able to remain present and aware of what is needed; focused on delivering quality work.
  • Possess a long-term perspective, recognizing future opportunities and excited to take steps to achieve them.
  • Strong client advocate who consistently follows through on commitments.
