Role Overview
This position is primarily a night shift role at our pharmacy, and flexibility to work alternative shifts is essential. As a Laboratory Production Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Executing complex compounding, manufacturing (including cyclotron and chemistry module operation), and quality control processes under supervision, adhering to State and Federal regulations.
- Participating in inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support manufacturing and testing processes.
- Implementing approved changes to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in production and quality control.
- Conducting routine preventive maintenance checks on Cyclotrons, Chemistry Modules, and Quality Control Equipment.
- Managing logistics functions, including product preparation for shipment and coordinating courier schedules.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with:
- Analytical Chemistry Equipment and Processes (HPLC, GC, TLC)
- Experience in sterile or clean room laboratory environments
Essential Skills
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to lift up to 100 lbs
