We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Hollywood Welding Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in steel estimating and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Examine project plans and blueprints to create precise cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements.
- Develop detailed assessments of quantities and costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Utilize estimating software, such as Sage 100 Contractors, to produce accurate projections.
- Track and manage project expenses throughout construction.
- Evaluate contracts and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best prices.
- Visit construction sites as required to ensure estimates are accurate.
