We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursing Leader to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. This is a full-time opportunity to lead and manage the nursing staff in our busy Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional outcomes.

About the Role

This leadership position requires a strong clinical background and expertise in nursing management. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing guidance and support to nursing staff, and implementing evidence-based practice to improve patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and staff engagement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and development opportunities, and address performance issues as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices in nursing leadership
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of Wisconsin
  • At least 1 year of experience in nursing leadership or management
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in emergency nursing
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
