Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Welfare Specialist to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing case management services to children, youth, and families, developing and implementing effective treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field, have at least two years of experience in social services, and be certified as a driver of children by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management services to children, youth, and families, including assessments, goal-setting, and service planning
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, including progress notes, case plans, and reports
- Collaborate with colleagues, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve desired outcomes
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
- At least two years of experience in social services
- Certification as a driver of children by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 30 lbs and physically attend to young children and infants
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
