Chief Revenue Cycle Strategist

The Chief Revenue Cycle Strategist will oversee the Patient Financial Services department, managing hospital and clinic billing, revenue cycle enhancement, and direct supervision of team members. This role requires strong leadership skills, medical billing expertise, and excellent computer and customer service abilities.

• Direct the overall direction of hospital and clinic Patient Financial Services, including insurance and self-pay billing, reimbursement, and collection processes.
• Lead a team of direct reports in the Patient Financial Services department, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
• Contribute to revenue cycle improvement initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert on billing for other departments.
• Research best practices for denial and account resolution, applying findings to enhance departmental processes.

• 5 years' experience in a healthcare management role with demonstrated knowledge of medical billing.
• Excellent computer and customer service skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required.

• HS diploma or equivalent, BS in accounting, business, or finance preferred.
• HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification.

$88,000 - $99,600 per year (based on 40 hours/week), commensurate with experience.
