Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to play a pivotal role in our software development initiatives. This position will engage with key stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
- Requirements Gathering
- Application Architecture Design
- High-Level Design Artifacts Creation
- Code Development and Validation
- Implementation and Support Activities

Essential Qualifications:
- Must be located within designated regions or be open to relocation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 4 years in the field of Information Technology.
- Proficiency in Java.
- Comprehensive understanding of the full SDLC.
- Experience with Lean / Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API Microservices.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing Java RESTful API microservices for enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with eCommerce or OSS-BSS domains is advantageous.
- Experience with unit testing and code quality tools such as JUnit or Sonar.
- Proficient in working with Apache Kafka messaging frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical solutions to diverse teams.
- At least 1 year in a leadership role, managing small teams is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in a global delivery environment is desirable.
The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication through various channels is essential. Travel may be necessary based on job requirements.
