Community Radiology Associates is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and assisting radiologists with biopsies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
- Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
- Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing patient discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.
- Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
- Passed SPI exam preferred.
- Current ARDMS certifications or ARRT (S), or ARDMS Registry / ARRT (S) Eligible preferred.
- BLS certification required.
This role is a full-time position with a regular schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45.00 per hour and a bonus/incentive of $7,500.00.
