Riverside Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in providing athletic training coverage for our orthopedic physician practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing athletic training programs, and collaborating with our orthopedic physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement athletic training programs for patients, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Provide athletic training coverage for interscholastic athletic events, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries
- Collaborate with our orthopedic physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and maintain a budget for athletic training supplies and equipment
- Establish and maintain a working relationship with school nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Complete patient records and maintain accurate documentation of patient care
- Participate in marketing and promotional events as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
- NATA BOC Certification
- Active Illinois licensure
- At least 3 years of experience working in a physician practice and secondary school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
