About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Simplot. As a key member of our information security team, you will play a critical role in managing and mitigating cyber-risk across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Standards and Policies: Analyze, document, and report on the effectiveness of our security standards, policies, and controls. Lead information security initiatives and projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate technical and non-technical expertise, exerting influence within the immediate team and across assigned information security pillars (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).
  • Project Leadership: Participate in and may lead the delivery of security initiatives and projects of moderate to high complexity. Represent the team to partners and stakeholders.
  • Cybersecurity Consulting: Consult with team members, other organizations, customers, and vendors on complex cyber-issues.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Ensure information security policies and standards are understood and assist the business in assessing risks and applying standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university.
  • Experience: 3+ years related experience and/or training.
  • Skills: General understanding of information security, demonstrated analytic skills, intermediate skills in one or more information security pillars, good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a geographically diverse team.
