Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams on patients using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic vascular laboratory examinations using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
- Evaluate the cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial, and peripheral venous systems.
- Utilize the hospital electronic medical record to review patient information and document critical findings.
- Adhere to exam protocols and demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Mission and Values of the organization.
Requirements
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or Vascular Sonographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association.
- Associate's degree in an applied health science field with concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography, or other related study.
