Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and maintaining accurate records.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and support to our patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and maintaining accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication lists.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with the latest developments in pharmacy practice.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure medications.
