Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans
  • Implement interventions to improve patients' function and quality of life, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate patient care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes to ensure accurate and effective care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
  • Experience working in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
