Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Woodside KC. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high-quality experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, outgoing, and attentive service to all members and guests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine, following recipes and maintaining consistency.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all bottles and glasses are arranged correctly and glassware is washed and sterilized.
  • Point of Sale: Utilize the POS system to process bar purchases and manage sales.
  • Inventory Management: Work with the Bar Manager to prepare juices, syrups, and ancillary cocktail ingredients, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate efficiently with other Food + Drink staff to coordinate member orders and ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience and prior work as a bartender required.
  • Skills: Professional appearance and demeanor, excellent customer service and strong communications skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills for change and operating a POS system.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License or reliable form of transportation to work.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Operates behind a bar within the Club, where many activities and varying noise levels may be going on around the bar area.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Flexible and changing working hours, must be available per business needs.
