Maintenance Director

Job Title: Engineering and Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

The Engineering and Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. This role involves leading a team and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of maintenance workers in the performance of maintenance tasks
• Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules
• Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory to ensure timely replacement of worn or damaged parts
• Ensure all maintenance work is properly tracked and documented in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
