Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy fitness classes to our clients, while maintaining the distinct Barry's aesthetic and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Class Delivery: Deliver first-class training to customers while maintaining the distinct Barry's aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere, and culture.
- Client Engagement: Inspire and energize clients and provide superior customer service at all times, inside and outside class.
- Brand Ambassador: Act as a Barry's ambassador, inside and outside class.
Requirements
- Certification and Experience: Instructor or personal training certification and experience from leading group training or working as a personal trainer.
- Availability: Availability for non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and perceptive personality with a strong sense of integrity and self-confidence.
- Attitude: Energizing, positive, and optimistic attitude.
- Passion for Fitness: Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
- Brand Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm for the Barry's brand.
- Dependability: Proven dependability and reliability.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a desire to build strong interpersonal relationships.
- Physical Demands: Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time. Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ pounds.
