About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in supporting the academic and social development of students in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student speech-language abilities to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students, aligned with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to identify strengths and areas of concern in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Stay current with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to develop treatment plans that are strength-based, child-centered, and family-focused.
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings to ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Support teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with school-aged children.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures, including IDEA and IEP development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
