Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, delegate, and coordinate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Supervise and assign tasks to nursing staff, prioritizing patient needs and acuity
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise
- Document patient assessments, plans, interventions, and educational needs, as well as patient responses to care
- Administer medications and treatments, adhering to standards of care and practice
- Maintain a safe patient and working environment, adhering to infection control and safety policies
- Receive and implement physician orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution
- Current Virginia nursing license
- No prior clinically related nursing experience required; completion of a general orientation program and unit-specific training
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Proficiency in CPR certification and annual completion of unit-specific proficiencies
