Installation Technician 2 Job Description

A client in the Franklin, TN area is seeking an experienced Installation Technician 2 to perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects. Key responsibilities include cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and component installation, rack fabrication, and wiring. The ideal candidate will lead and direct installation crews on less complex projects, coordinating progress with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years of audiovisual installation experience
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of complex wiring configurations and signal flow for audio, video, control, and network systems
  • Valid Driver's License and strong Motor Vehicle Record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal education in Audio Visual, Electronics, or related field
  • Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course
  • Ability to obtain formal approved clearances (Government or system specific)
