Job Description

Job Title: Account Support Officer

Job Summary:

City National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Account Support Officer to join our team. As an Account Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Provide proactive and proper solutions and support to clients, ensuring their day-to-day operational needs are met.
  • Operational Integrity: Maintain the operational integrity of assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Product Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of bank products and services to evaluate and suggest new opportunities for growth in relationships and recommend solutions to clients.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve problems, answer questions related to client accounts and utilization of bank products and services, and work with clients and/or business management firms to assist in operations areas.
  • Client Retention: Provide accurate, timely, and extensive information to all client inquiries and requests to ensure retention of existing profitable clients.
  • Complaint Resolution: Resolve client complaints and take appropriate action to prevent future problems, performing follow-up necessary to resolve situations as they arise.
  • Cross-Selling: Analyze client needs to cross-sell a wide variety of Bank services, directing clients to appropriate areas within the Bank or to a member of the Relationship Team.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in client call programs with the Relationship Team and provide assistance and coverage for all operations-related activity within the department.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a proactive commitment to established Bank programs, including KYC, BSA, AML, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Affirmative Action.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in client service, banking operations, or relationship management support required.
  • Education: Equivalent training or experience in banking or financial services environment required.
  • Skills: Colleagues typically have 3-5 years of experience in banking operations and servicing or equivalent training.

Compensation: Starting base salary: $36.69 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
