As a key player in our manufacturing process, the Extrusion Operator will engage in the production of high-quality colored plastic materials. Our company is renowned for creating a vast array of color matched concentrates, masterbatches, and pigment dispersions, serving various industries including construction, coatings, and consumer goods.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Extrusion Operator, your primary duties will include:
1. **Operating Extruder Machines:** Skillfully manage the operation of multiple extruder machines to ensure efficient production.
2. **Simultaneous Machine Management:** Effectively run 2-3 machines at the same time, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
3. **Troubleshooting and Repairs:** Identify and resolve minor machine issues, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent output.
4. **Quality Assurance Collaboration:** Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to inspect and verify the quality of finished products.
5. **Material Handling:** Perform material handling and forklift duties as necessary to support production operations.
Work Environment:
The position operates on the following shifts:
- **2nd Shift:** 3pm - 11:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- **3rd Shift:** 11pm - 7:30am (Sunday to Thursday)
