Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate Vacuum Equipment: You will be responsible for safely operating vacuum equipment in an industrial setting, adhering to company policies and procedures as well as various on-site requirements.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: You will provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL Environmental.
  • Complete Daily Equipment Pre-Trips and Driver Logs: You will complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance.
  • Maintain Detailed and Accurate Company Documentation: You will maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.
  • Demonstrate a Commitment to Environmental Compliance: You will demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance.
  • Participate in Safety Programs: You will participate in safety programs such as safety meetings, near miss reporting, and job hazard assessments.
  • Work Independently and Effectively: You will work independently while managing time and productivity and communicate effectively.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License: You must have a valid Commercial Driver's License.
  • N-tanker Endorsement Required: You must have an N-tanker Endorsement.
  • Valid TWIC Card: You must have a valid TWIC Card.
  • Industrial Vacuum Truck and/or Hydro-Excavating Experience: You must have 2 years of industrial vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience, preferably with a combo unit.
  • Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills: You must have exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Safety-Focused Attitude: You must have a safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge to Perform Minor Maintenance: You must have knowledge to perform minor maintenance on units to maintain efficient operation.
  • Cleanliness and Organizational Skills: You must possess cleanliness and organizational skills.
  • Good Health and Physical Condition: You must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned.
  • Willingness to Accept After-Hour Calls: You must be willing to accept after-hour calls when necessary.
  • Short-Term Travel and Overnight Requirements: You must be willing to accept short-term travel and overnight requirements.
