LocumJobsOnline is collaborating with CompHealth to identify a skilled General Surgery MD. This role involves providing essential surgical services in a temporary capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Willingness to wait for licensure
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) status required
- Participate in on-call duties, including weekends
- ACLS certification is mandatory
- Manage an average of 15 patients daily, with 0 to 5 general surgery patients during 24-hour on-call shifts
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures including abdominal, gall bladder, appendectomy, endoscopy, liver, colon, laparoscopy, and spleen surgeries
- Credentialing process is necessary
- DEA registration is required
- Competitive compensation with weekly deposits
