Demolition Supervisor

As a Demolition Foreman at Swinerton, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient demolition of structures. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed for demolition projects
- Develop work schedules and crew assignments to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including inventory management and supply requests
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures
- Coordinate vendor pickups and deliveries, and ensure that all hazardous materials are properly identified and handled
- Ensure that all demolition workers are following established job hazard analyses (JHAs) for tasks
- Properly support structural items to remain in place during demolition, and recycle materials as prescribed in contract documents or required by local jurisdiction
- Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues, and consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner
- Ensure that jobs are completed in due time and performed according to Swinerton standards
- Discipline, mentor, and monitor the performance of employees, and enter daily time in Exaktime (Swinerton timekeeping system) for crew
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman Demolition or similar role
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time
- Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts, or other equipment
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and uphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion, and Excellence at all times
